About
History
The South East Asia Bible College was founded on June 3, 2002 because of need and vision. The school rented apartments for the first three years in downtown Yangon. Then, in November 2004, God graciously provided us a four-story building which includes a dining hall, classrooms, a library, a dormitory, and office space.
Today, the student body of this college is sixty people from over twenty-three ethnic groups. We have 125 graduates and nearly all of them are faithfully serving the Lord in different parts of this great nation.
Purpose
The vision and committed purpose of South East Asia Bible College is to glorify God by preparing young people spiritually, practically, as well as academically so that they may be able to rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15), and be useful for the Master (2 Timothy 2:21) in evangelizing, planting new churches and training others to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).
Objectives
The South East Asia Bible College feels that by setting the following goals its students will best be able to achieve their educational objectives.
1. To develop a growing spiritual life and Christlike character consistent with the standards of Scripture.
2. To develop and use one’s spiritual gifts for effective service to Christ, the Church, and the world.
3. To gain a knowledge of biblically based systematic theology.
4. To apply the truths of Scripture consistently to one’s life and ministry.
