New Academic Year:
The Lord graciously answered our prayers and we began the new school year on June 1st, 2017. We have 95 students (including 12 M.Div. students) this year. After running the SEABC for 15 years, by God’s grace and His clear guidance, we started M.Div. program this year. The students are from over 25 different ethnic groups such as Akha, Bamar, Falam, Rawang, Lisu, Shan, Zo, Thado, Kachin, Sakaw Karen, Kepa, Appu, Kayan, Makuri Naga, Kuki Naga, Mindat, Mara, Dai, Paletwas, Chinpon, Siyin, Lahu, Tangsha, Thanshan Naga, etc. Most of them are from
rural areas of Myanmar.

Teaching: Dr. Bentley Tate (M.D., M.Div.) and bro. Jessiah from USA effectively taught the Word of God at SEABC&S on June 13-14, 2017 and the students were blessed and strengthened. Dr, Bentley’s youngest son namely Barrett (12 years old boy) had a special prayer for the students at the Student’s Chapel service.

Please pray with us for the Lord’s continuous protection and provisions of SEABC&S where we are training and
equipping young people to be faithful followers of Christ and to do His Great Commission in Myanmar and around the world (Luke 9:23; Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 1:8; Rom. 10:14-17).

Medical Checkup in Pyapon: Dr. Bentley Tate, his son Barrett, and Mrs. Faith Perkins and I (Kap) went to
Pyapon, Delta area on June 15th and had worship service at night, and the next day, over 50 peoples in Pyapon
had medical checkup with Dr. Bentley Tate.

Chapel Service: The Students have Chapel Service on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00am to
11:50am. The faculty members, visiting lecturers/guests and senior students used to preach in turn; the junior
students used to share about their testimonies (e.g. How they got saved; and the Lord’s
goodness in their daily living).
Gospel Outreach Ministry: SEABC&S students had Gospel outreach to Mingalar Children Home in
Shwepyethar, Yangon area on June 25th, 2017. They taught the Word of God (Gospel) and songs. The Kids really
enjoyed learning new songs and listening to the message.
Please give thanks to the Lord with us:
(1) for the Lord’s providence for the costs of putting Aluminum Composite Panels on the front side of the
SEABC&S building, air conditioners, transformers, and bunk-beds, etc.
(2) for the prayer partners of SEABC&S and the donors who financially supports SEABC&S
(3) for enabling us to begin the new academic year of 2017
Prayer Requests:
1) for the alumni of SEA Bible College & Seminary that they may be faithful followers of Christ and doing
His Great Commission in different parts of Myanmar and around the world
2) for the continuous effectiveness of the teaching ministry of SEA Bible College & Seminary
3) for partners of SEA Bible College
4) for the project of new building with new campus for SEA Bible College & Seminary
